Who we are
SleepySproutzzz helps parents and caregivers create calming bedtime stories for kids ages 2–8. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information we collect
Things you provide — Story settings you type (length, moral, tone) and your email if you choose to receive a copy or manage a subscription.
Payments — Subscriptions are processed by Stripe, which collects billing details (including billing address) on our behalf. We don’t store full card numbers.
Analytics & usage (GA4) — We use Google Analytics 4 to understand site use (pages viewed, events like button clicks, device/browser info, approximate location, session data). GA4 does not log IP addresses to reports.
Cookies — Cookies or similar tech may store a unique ID so the site and analytics work properly; Stripe may set cookies on checkout to prevent fraud.
How we use information
Provide and improve the Service (generate stories, deliver emails, prevent abuse).
Understand usage and improve features (aggregated analytics).
Process subscriptions and send receipts (via Stripe).
Send essential Service communications (account, receipts, important updates).
We do not sell personal information or use kids’ data for ads.
Children’s privacy
SleepySproutzzz is for adults to create stories for children. We do not request or collect children’s personal information. Please don’t enter a child’s full name or contact details. If you believe we collected a child’s personal information, email us and we’ll delete it.
Cookies & analytics choices
You can control cookies in your browser, install Google’s Analytics Opt-Out Add-on, or turn off personalized ads in your Google account. We set GA4 data retention to 14 months.
When we share information
We share personal information only with service providers who help run SleepySproutzzz and who are bound by contract to protect it:
Carrd (hosting)
Google Analytics (site analytics)
Stripe (payments & billing)
Email delivery provider (for story emails and receipts)
We may share information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the Service.
Data retention
Emails and subscription records are kept as long as your subscription or account is active and as required for receipts/compliance. Analytics data is retained up to 14 months. We delete or anonymize data when no longer needed.

Limited Social-Sharing License You may share an unaltered screenshot or PDF of a SleepySproutzzz story on your personal, non-commercial social-media account provided that (1) the built-in watermark and copyright notice remain visible, (2) you add clear attribution in the caption (e.g., “Story generated with @SleepySproutzzz”), and (3) you do not monetize the post or use it to advertise third-party products. We may revoke this permission at any time.
Stories are provided “as-is” for calming bedtime use. SleepySproutzzz disclaims all warranties and is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from their use.
